Transforming Dangers into Flowers

What most people feared finally came true, at the end of November 2017 Mount Agung really erupted. Thousands of refugees again should return to a new and painful chapter of life. No one is praying for a natural disaster. Nevertheless, disasters come again as a guest of life.

Accusing this and calling it as wrong, is certainly easy. But to transform every sadness into the ingredients of growth, that is the beautiful task of beautiful souls. In the midst of sadness, among the clouds of disaster covering the Bali sun, there is a soul who sees a flash of light: "Learn to see like the father sky, act like the mother earth."

In the eyes of the sky, there is no such thing as death, there is no such thing as sadness. There are only metamorphoses of forms that are constantly changing. The dry leaves on this day become compost the next day, and will appear as young leaves on another day. A disaster today brings sadness, but it is changing its shape into beauty in the future.

Stones poured out of Mount Agung in 1963 did cause a lot of sadness at that time. But nowadays, the stones have made a lot of holy places in Bali look much greater. In short, every sunset always brings the promise of a sunrise the next day. Every disaster will be followed by light in the following time.

That's a way of looking like the father sky. And since the human body is made of earth, and grows beautifully on earth, it is worth learning to act like mother earth. In short, everything that is planted here on earth is being processed into beautiful flowers. For that reason, the most important spiritual task of human beings in the midst of a disaster is to transform dangers into flowers.

Have a look at the children who are afraid of dogs. Fearful feelings make the body of the children produce adrenaline. The smell of adrenaline makes the dogs think that they will be attacked. As a result, the barking dogs can make the fearful children grow into danger.

The same thing happens with human being in the time of disasters. Excessive fear will especially invite the coming of greater danger. The collective adrenaline of society can be a huge magnet that invites the coming of greater danger. That's why, in the study of spiritual energy often sounds the message: "Changing frequency is changing reality".

Human beings can actively participate in changing the beauty of reality here on earth. The most frequently cited masterpiece in this regard is the study of the particle shape of water by Dr. Masaru Emoto. When it was shown a negative message like fool, the shape of the water particles reflected being frightened. When it was shown a positive message like peace, the water particle shape became full of beauty.

The spiritual message then, stop seeing the eruption of Mount Agung with frightened eyes. It will only invite a greater danger. Instead, look at the messages of beauty which is hidden behind the eruption of Mount Agung.

The Balinese elders call Mount Agung their Mother. It rarely happens that a mother would harm her children. Most mothers keep giving energy of loving-kindness to the children. Borrowing the lyrics of a song about Mothers: "Only giving the unreturnable love, like what the Sun shine does to the world". This is exactly what we mean by transforming dangers into flowers: "Leave behind all the fear of disasters, find the beauty that's hidden behind the trials".
