The Inner Angel

A young girl whose face was tired and uneasy asked a touching question like this: "my parents was divorced, my house makes me nervous, my school makes me angry, where should I find safe and comfortable shelter for my soul?". 

It is unimaginable how painful the inner soul is, at the teenagers age this young girl must experience such troubling life. And in the midst of burning life like this, it is natural that she tried to look for a comfortable shelter for her soul.

Sadly, in this time and age, there are very few safe and comfortable soul shelter. Do not talk about people who gathered for the purpose of business, even when the holy people gathered for the purpose of sanctitying the soul, the environment is full of disagreement.

Learning from this, the only safe option is to find the beautiful angel within. That is the reason why the deep spiritual journey is often referred as a deep inner journey. It is like finding the inner sanctuary.

Every tradition has their unique way, but on the path of meditation the inner journey is done by maintaining the proper distance to the body, mind and emotion. When someone is successful in maintaining the last distance, by then there is possibility of deep concentration.

To make it simple, concentration is a kind of focused energy. Bomb is also a form of focused energy. Similar to a bomb that can blow up a lot of things, someone who perfectly rest long enough in deep concentration can also blow up many inner darkness of ignorance.

Whenever the inner darkness of ignorance explode, by then there is beautiful flowers of love , kindness and compassion bloom within. While the ordinary people love because of missing heaven after death, the spiritual seekers who have direct experience of inner explosion, they love because they find happiness and peace in loving.

And it is this kind of love which is referred as the inner angel. With this kind of love in the heart, wherever one goes they will always meet the bright light. In a simple but profound language, to love is to see beauty in every event. Including to see beauty in the heart of those who harm you.

The beauty of having enemies, they give us an honest mirror of how beautiful our hearts is. The beauty of having parents who are divorced, they give you a direct experience, how painful life is because of the divorced parents. It can give you a strong determination to become a beautiful parent someday. The beauty of growing up in an environment which is full of tragedy, we keep perfecting love everyday.

That's how the inner angel keep guiding you along the journey. In any event there is beauty. Any spiritual seekers who concentrate to see the beautiful sides of all events, then every place is a safe and comfortable place for the soul growth. On this path, it is often heard a message like this: "One who is beautiful within meet beauty everywhere".
