In Love With Peace

In the world of decision-making, there is a factor that appears to be small but has big influence on the flow of life then, it is called the time factor. When the time is wrong, how precise the decision is, life could be dangerous. When the time is correct, how poor the decision is, there's a chance of survival.

The question then, how does one know when the time is right or wrong? Learning from the spiritual journey of famous samurai Miyamoto Musashi, within each of us there are spiritual messages that should be read everyday. Sadly, there are very few people in this age who can read the spiritual messages inside.

In the moment when you feel calm, peaceful, free from fear, that is the most appropriate time to make important decisions in life. As experienced by many high level spiritual seekers, when the decision is made in a perfect tranquility, many unexpected things emerged as the enabling conditions.

One day Mahatma Gandhi was ready to lead a great demonstration involving thousands of people to protest against the British colonialists. However, when he was ready to lead demonstration, Gandhiji saw there was anger within him. For that reason, he chose to meditate rather than leading demonstration.

While thousands of supporters were ready to support a great demonstration outside, this thin man spent long time in a quiet sitting meditation, and taking the same distance to all sorts of emotions that coming and going, smiling equally to all blessings of present moment.

In the language of meditation, recognize body as body not as yourself. Simply aware to feelings as feelings not as yourself. Recognize mind as mind not as yourself. Just aware to objects of mind as objects of mind, not as yourself. This is often referred as the four pillars of awareness.

When Mahatma Gandhi was sure that he was calm, balance, free from anger, by then he began to lead the demonstration. And as has been recorded clearly in the history, even the strongest army in the world at that time (by which read: British colony) had to leave from India.

The lesson is very simple, tranquility and peace are the home of soul. Once souls live in the home of peace, many unexpected things can appear to support the journey of life then. Unfortunately, in this age many souls grow like the lost children who do not know where the home is.

As a result, many souls find home no where. There's problems at the house, there's problems on the street, there's problems in the office. It is unimaginable how people will deal with decisions in the situations like this. That is the reason, it is highly recommended to many friends to be in touch with the peace within.

In a simple but profound language, whatever the blessing of this moment, always remember to accept, flow and smile. Mainly because all flow of life is the dancing of the same perfection. This is what is called by in love with peace. In this level of attainment, one can make decision in a peaceful and beautiful way.
