The Sunrise from Bali

“Science is the contemporary language of mysticism”, some says. It means, knowledge is the contemporary language of the mystics in this age. If the new generation is given a dogma about knowledge from the past, they are guaranteed to run away. But if old wisdom is “spoken” with contemporary knowledge, there is a possibility that old wisdom can share Light.

A well known physicist Fritjof Capra from Vienna Austria has long written in his masterpiece “The Tao of Physics”, observers also influence the behavior of atoms. Touching scientists from Japan Dr. Masaru Emoto produced influential masterpieces. In essence, the shape of water particles changes when the words spoken in front of water are different. Abundant number of scientists who call “mind over matter”. The human mind can affect the natural surroundings. Including being able to heal the body.
The above findings are actually the language of contemporary knowledge that is not yet 100 years old. In line with this contemporary finding, Balinese elders have been for thousands of years “carried out” (not just spoken) a simple but profound principle: “Humans can participate in preserving the safety and balance of nature through thoughts, words and actions”.
Pay attention on what the Balinese elders did here. Where there is a forest that they feel have sacred and holy vibrations, there the elders establish a holy place (temple). In some places even monkeys are spread near the temple. From one point of view, that is how Balinese elders not only protecting the nature, but also keep the next generation close to nature. The contemporary language is spiritual connection.
In all villages in Bali there are Pura (temple) Merajan as an expression of deep love for parents and ancestors. This is not only showed about the respect of elders to their ancestors, but a media reminder to the next generation, a deep sense of love and devotion is a higher force that is very salvaging in nature. The contemporary language is love heals.
The legacy of Balinese wisdom that is still heard loudly to this day is Tri Hita Karana. The next generation is respectfully asked to maintain a balance between nature, humans and God. The contemporary language is called epygenetics. Human lifestyle can not only change the environment, but also change the genes in them.
In short, in an age that currently terrified by this corona virus, it is time to combine contemporary knowledge with the old wisdom. The world may panic, in the US people even stand in line to buy firearms, let’s show the world, Bali not only understands contemporary languages, but also has strong historical roots with the past.
The great Indian poet Rabin Dranath Tagore had come to Bali decades ago, then called Bali “Morning of the world”. It’s time to tell the world, there is a very beautiful sun rising on the island of love in Bali.
