Flower of Compassion

In the deep spirituality, people often talk about initiation. It is a transmission of energy and knowledge from teacher to student. And as other human activities, some initiations are successful some others fail.

The Valley

There are many forms of rituals are performed in initiation. With all respect to friends who strongly believe in rituals, the thing which is critical in ritual is the sacred teachings which are hidden behind. Without reading the hidden holy teachings and put the teachings into practice, all rituals will lose their charisma 

Center of Peace

 Mythologist Joseph Campbell once wrote in his book The Power of Myth: “There is center of quietness within. If you lose that center you begin to fall”. The question then, where the center is located?


Head

In our time, many people look for the light in the head in the form of intelligence. Schools and universities spend more than eighty per cent of their time to explore the head. It is not always bad, many progress happened because of it. But it’s hard to deny, many souls recently are alienated in their body. They are far from peace.

Love Beautify The Soul

When Nelson Mandela passed away few years ago, the world lost one of beautiful light. In the time when Lady Diana died years ago, billions pairs of eyes in the world cried. There is no other story behind this except the story of beautiful souls.


Any heart who bloom in beauty knows, an encounter with beautiful souls can easily make tears drop. In the language of Karen Armstrong, whenever soul feel the presence of beautiful souls, there’s a feeling of being uplifted. And one of the sign is tears drop.

The question then, what make beautiful souls such luminous? In the East people widely know the reincarnation of sacred spirits who come to earth to share the light. In Hindus they’re called Avatar who is the reincarnation of God. In Mahayana Buddhism they’re called Bodhisattva who take a vow to continuously rebirth until samsara is empty. In the West people know angels.

Diamond of Compassion

 One day there was a poor man in remote area of Africa who keep praying in order to have a diamond. And finally he fail to get the diamond. Frustrated with this fact he then sold his land, and look for another diamond in a distant land.

In the distant land the fate of this man was the same. He could not find any diamond that he was looking for. After very boring and exhausted, he then returned back to his home land with all of his disappointments. And how surprise he was when watching that the land which he sold earlier now belongs to a mining company that mine countless diamonds there.

Sky of Peace

A well-devoted student of meditation asked: "why his mind is often disturbed by the clouds?". There are clouds of doubt, fear, anger, revenge. And the harder he tried to run away from the clouds, the more often the clouds disturb his daily life.

Rose Without Thorns

Every spiritual friend who often encounter the souls in danger will understand, there is always inner fights there. Good fight against bad, false against right, dirty against holy. A teenager who joined meditation class even screaming in the midst of silent meditation. As soon as we finished the silent meditation, this teenager shared his experience that he saw demon within himself.
