Souls who grow like this are similar to the school children who never take any vacations. Boredom, tiredness, sadness and unhappiness are the friends of everyday life. It's not only the poor who are sleepless, even the rich people are also sleepless. It's not those who are uneducated who are restless, even the well-educated people are also restless. For these types of souls, the harder they try, the more they plant the seeds of sickness inside. Mainly because they experience energy deficits every single day.
Before this sad story visits your life, let's learn to rest the mind. One of the dominant characteristic of a mind which never rests, is that the frame of mind is full of the words like must, should and have to. They keep forcing the stream of life to be the same as their frame of mind. Since their mind is very narrow, and life is as wide as an ocean, the end result is predictable, these kinds of human beings are easily disappointed. As a result, these types of souls can fall into a dangerous valley.
There are three simple but deep stories in this case that can be used as materials of contemplation. Especially for the spiritual seekers who learn to rest the mind. For skillful gardeners, weeds are very disturbing. But for the rabbits, weeds are tasty and delicious food. The same thing happens to the everyday life of human beings. For some people, an unfortunate event is a source of suffering. But for the others, the same experience of life can be a source of blessing.
Let's imagine you wake up in a morning and suddenly find a plastic bag filled with cow dung in front of the door. For the angry mind, cow dung can be the beginning of violence. But for the beautiful heart, cow dung is a fertilizer that can be transformed into a beautiful flower. In other words, the bad things and the good things do not come from what happens outside. But it is the fruit of how someone’s mind processes it inside.
When it rains, chicken shelter under a tree. But a duck plunges himself into the pool. Each follow opposite paths, but both of them are happy as they are. What happens to the restless souls, they force others to be the same as they are. Differences are considered to be the source of disaster. But for the beautiful souls, differences are a source of blessing. They are colorful colors that can be transformed into beautiful rainbow.
The initial signs of a healthy mind are the grip of a strong mind loosening. It is characterized by far less judgment, far fewer complaints, much less fighting. As a result, there is far less energy which is leaking. At the same time, there are more energy which is available to heal oneself.
And for the souls who have recovered already, or for the souls who entered the gate of wholeness, they will smile with this simple yet profound message: "Like water in nature. The rainy season does not increase the amount of water, but the dry season does reduce it. In the same way, happiness does not put something new to the soul, sadness does not remove anything from the soul".
As soon as souls arrived here, spiritual seekers will experience a state of "permanent vacation". Some seekers call this silence. Some others use the terminology of perfection. And as the natural nature of water is to be wet, the natural nature of a flower is to be beautiful, the natural nature of souls who have arrived at the stage of perfection is full of compassion.
That is the reason why the souls who are purified and perfected already, they do not run away from the crowd. But they share the light in the middle of the crowd. Those who love to write, let's continue to write. Those who like to paint, let's continue to paint. Those who grow in their working place, let's continue to work. And there is one thing in common between all of them, whatever their daily calling - from writing to painting - they keep sharing the beautiful light.
At the level of spiritual attainment like this, people can say goodbye to their old habits of continuously running into the future. Then they can rest at this moment as it is. This is called a permanent vacation. At the same time, this is the beautiful home of beautiful souls.
