Beautiful Heart

A number of friends who are entrepreneurs complain that there are many business opportunities actually, but it is very difficult to find people who can be trusted to be able to lead the company. As a result, many business opportunities simply pass solely because of the scarcity of well-trusted people.

This story implicitly bring a simple message, in this age to find clever people is easy. There are abundant supply of clever people everywhere. But when it comes to find person with beautiful heart, there are saddening scarcity everywhere. Especially those who are beautiful in service, beautiful in attitude, beautiful in deeds.

Hearing a story like this, a teenager asks: "what is beautiful heart?". Look deeply inside when you know that your old friends who like to cheat in school later is appointed as professor, if you can smile without envy, that is a seed of beautiful heart.

Look deeply inside when you hear stories that your friends who are far more stupid than you in university become successful and wealthy people. If you do not say something bad about these friends, you feel even happy inside because of their happiness, that's beautiful heart.

Feel deeply inside when those people who have hurt you win as governor in public election. If you do not make any bad comment on that person, otherwise you feel happy because he will become a regional leader, that's beautiful heart.

The homework then, how can we develop beautiful heart? One day there was a little boy who came to balloon seller. When he saw that the blue balloons can fly, this boy asked innocently: "is the blue balloon can fly as well?". The balloon seller softly whisper: "it is not the color outside that makes the balloon fly son, but something inside".

In other words, the work of developing beautiful heart is an inside job. For that reason, whatever your daily life calling - from working to praying - learn to look deeply inside yourself. While the ordinary person are being dragged away by the negative emotions such as anger, in this way every time there is movement in thoughts and emotions, learn to take a distance, be a witness, and finally let them to pass according to their natural nature.

Anyone who diligently practice like this, do not give up easily, slowly there is a distance between that person with the thoughts and the emotions. Some clever people who are so attached to their mind, they will be burned inside when their ideas are rejected. Some grumpy people who are gripped by their emotions, they can be easily burned within when people disagree against them.

Spiritual seekers who deeply and diligently practice to be a compassionate witness to all movements of thoughts and emotions, one day they can have a broad mind, which is as wide as space and ocean. 

As the natural nature of water which is wet, the natural nature of sugar which is sweet, the natural nature of broad mind is to give birth to beautiful heart. The most important sign is simple, you can be happy to see the other's happiness.
