The Blooming Soul

One of the high-level teachings that ever delivered in this realm is called Tantra. Most of the Tantra teachings are confidential. However, if all the Tantra teachings are kept secret, one day the teaching will disappear. For that reason, a number of teachers such as Osho dare to unlock the secrets of Tantra.

While the Buddhist Tantra is closer to the path of jhnana (knowledge) and the peak is silence or wisdom, Shiva Tantra is closer to the path of bhakti (devotion) and the peak is unity. Both of them are complementary.

That is why Shiva Tantra was delivered by Shivaji to his consort. The implicit story behind, this teaching can only be delivered to the students with a very deep devotion. Only with a deep devotion then unity can be attained.

The complete 112 orders of Shiva Tantra can be read in Osho's masterpiece The Book of Secret. And not all Osho's interpretations are relevant to our age. Mainly because Osho taught in the different context of space and time.

This short article will try to interpret the three orders of Shiva Tantra which is relevant to our space and time. The first command is like this: "touch your eyes gently, as gentle as a feather". The interpretation then, be careful with the way you look at life. Sad-glad, false-true, hell-heaven are all the result of the way you look at life.

What is suggested here, learn to look at life with the gentle eyes. One who look at life with the soft eyes are always follow the path of peace. The second command: "look at the sky beyond clouds". Pain-pleasure, blamed-praised, failure-success are all clouds which are impermanent. And to be frank, you are not the clouds.

What is called the true self is similar to the blue sky. Whatever the color of clouds, simply learn to be a compassionate witness. That is why, deep meditation always suggest all meditators to be a witness to any kind of present moment.

The third command: "the roots are always grow in the darkness". The interpretation then, anyone who wants to understand the roots of soul are advised to understand darkness. Keep in the heart, darkness is not the enemy of light. Darkness is here to make light shines even brighter. Moreover, if all people run away from darkness, then who will guide them evolving into light?

Merged into one, these three orders of Shiva Tantra can be a profound nutrition on the path of enlightenment. Learn to see life as gentle as possible, go beyond the clouds of mind and feeling, and then keep in the heart that everything is light. Even darkness is an evolving light.

Any one who embody these three Shiva Tantra orders as deep as possible, their souls are blooming into a beautiful flower. While the ordinary flowers will quickly wither, this extrodinary flower of enlightenment will remain here to share the fragrance of love.
