Calling Old Souls

It is hard to deny that in these days there is a great deal of darkness on earth. On the one hand it is very scary, but on the other hand it is an invitation to the old souls to immediately share the light. For that reason, there should be someone who dares to give spiritual signs and guidelines of action to let the old souls (who have been reborn) to share as much light as possible.

Spiritual Signs

1. As a child, you feel uncomfortable. There was a strong feeling that you wanted to become an adult as quickly as possible. At the same time, you were rarely interested in hanging out with friends of the same age. While most children are afraid of solitude, you feel comfortable in solitude.

2. In childhood you often dream of flying. It is a sign that you are a sky being who is here on earth to share beautiful light. Sometimes in childhood you had dreams of being naked as a reminder that you should have a naked mind ( by which read: free of judgment and violence).

Forgiving As Spiritual Attainment

Here and there we can see people who are full of anger which can injure others. The most touching human tragedy in our history is Syria. Millions of human lives are being destroyed there. In different levels and challenges, other countries are also similar. And the story of people being full of anger has happened for a very long time.

The Great Wall of China which has been built for 2,000 years, is a monument which indicates the anger of the Chinese to the Mongols. Although this story has been going on for a long time, until today the descendants of the Chinese people and the descendants of the Mongols in various parts of the world have found it difficult to connect.

The Most Touching Speech

In the year of 1980s Kenichi Ohmae of Japan who is an expert on strategy, predicted the coming of a global village era. At that time, it was unclear how the global village would look. Nowadays, with such rapid advancement of social media, it is beginning to be clear what the global village is. And as has been happening from a long long time ago, every blessing brings it's own suffering.

Social media has indeed brought many blessings. But it is hard to deny, many disasters that arise later is the result of social media. Many Indonesian people have no idea about the affairs of ethnic Rohingya in Myanmar, but suddenly a terrorist bombing exploded in one of the Buddhist temple. Not all our friends in the Church know that there was a presidential candidate in the US that had a campaign against certain religion. But a religious gathering in Bandung Indonesia had to be canceled because it was prohibited by a group of people there, certain people in Samarinda Kalimantan Indonesia have even thrown a dangerous bomb at a church.

Permanent Vacation

Souls who keep running into the future is the main characteristic of so many people nowadays. School children are very eager to pass exams as quickly as possible. Those who have graduated want to work as fast as possible. People who have started work want to climb the career ladder as quickly as possible. While the ordinary people keep running in order to get rich, the rich person never stops running into the future in order to be richer. As a result, we can see the restless and sleepless souls everywhere.

Spiritual Transmission

As candles which continuously light the other's  candles, bringers of the dawn keep lighting the other's candles through thoughts, speech and actions. Sadly, very few people nowadays have a candle within themselves (by which read: have an interest in spirituality). When there are people who carry a candle, it is very difficult to light it. Mainly because of ignorance and mistrust.

Even though the situation is such difficult, bringers of the dawn will never quit. That's the reason why at all ages there are bringers of the dawn. And very few of them are allowed to be called Avatar, Buddha, Mahatma, Prophet. Most of them are happy using the cloth of the commoners. At the same time,  they continuously share the light in accordance with the unique challenges of their time.

Meeting The True Guru

"What and who is the true Guru?", that's the question which is often raised by many spiritual seekers. It is not easy to answer it. To put it simply, for ordinary people who are not enlightened yet, the true teacher is outside. To the one who newly enlightened, the true Master is inside. But for the spiritual seekers who have experienced perfect enlightenment, the true Guru is beyond outside and inside.

In the straightforward language of the West, the true Guru is often defined as the unobscured suchness. In other words, the innocence which shines bright. A true teacher in this framework is far from having a judgmental mind. Their mind is always plain and they view everything as they are. And from such an innocent mind, then shines the beautiful light of loving-kindness and compassion.

The Seeds of Light

In our age, It is hard to deny that children are one of the important symbolical Gurus. Especially because your kids do not give you an other choices except to take good care of them. If you are not in line with your spouse, there's the choice of getting divorce. If you are not matched with your boss, you can move to another workplace. But if you have problems with the kids, you have no choice of running away.

And if you are skillful enough, your life calling to take good care of the children can be transformed into a deep spiritual journey. For that reason, do not see your children as a burden of life. Learn to see children as fishermen see the ocean, or like farmers taking good care of their fields.
