Ahimsa, Ahimsa and Ahimsa

As noted by the historians, inter-human violence has indeed declined in recent years. War, terrorism and crimes are indeed decreasingin terms of its quantity and quality. Along with that the violence carried out by nature continues to increase by quantity and its quality. Tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and landslides continue to take casualties of human lives. There are indeed those who call this as the fruit of human sins. There are also those who conclude this as human arrogance for trying to be “God” on earth. But not a few energy researchers concluded, natural energy is only a reflection of the dynamics of energy that exist in humans. In a place where humans inner energy are violent, in that place also nature will appear with a violent face.

Learning from this,it is worth pondering to reopen the old teachings about ahimsa (non violence). Similar to lifting one piece of paper up high and then the other part os also being lifted up, if we carry out the teachings of ahimsa very deeply then at the same time we are also carry out all the sacred teachings, also very deeply. Learning from in-depth studies of fundamentalists in many religions that do a lot of violence, people who commit a lot of violence outside almost all have firstly committed violence in the inside. After opening more deeply, it turns out that religion, school, culture contain many sources of violence that make many people commit violence inside themselves.
For example the teachings about hell and heaven. Bad people will go to hell, good people will go to heaven. On the surface it becomes a fence so that humans do not get out of the norms. But at deep depths, hell-heaven teachings are a form of internal violence. Everything that is considered bad is thrown away, every thing that is considered good is kept. As a result, the human soul grows out of balance. There is always something that feels lacking. This is seen in the eyes of many people in the crowd. Some want to cure themselves with shopping, some want to treat themselves by praying, some balance their souls by buying luxurious things. In the end, everything is like a cat chasing its own tail. The more it pursued, the more it run away.
Invitation from School and parents to continually improve themselves are also worthy of respect. They plays a small role in making people grow. But once a person grows up, he/she grows from one anxiety to another, he will realize, the idea of self-improvement is a kind of internal violence. Just like a dove that is trying to become a rabbit, like a rabbit that is trying to become a dove. Only a matter of time we will feel alienated in our own body. The body is not a home that makes us feel homy, instead it becomes a prison that makes us feel anxious. As soon as this type of feeling accumulates deep and long inside, then the situation can be very dangerous.
To be healthy and safe, let’s learn to stop all forms of violence inside. Learn to stop the long list of violence that has happened. The starting point starts from finding each other’s natural life calling. As simple as a dolphin that lives in the ocean, as simple as a butterfly that lives in the park. The secret about hidden natural life call lies in our childhood. From childhood dreams, favorite toys, friends who are easily familiar, lessons that are easily digested, to events that continue to follow in memory. Communicating intensively with our inner childhood is a highly recommended step in this regard.
As a comparison material, a friend who was born in a big family told me that until he was a teenager he never had his own room. Longing to have his own room is like a shadow that continues to follow. From here this friend invests more of his funds in the property business. As a result, this friend’s old age grew smoothly and beautifully. Other comparative materials, there are other friends who were eager to go overseas for higher education since his childhood, even though there are many requirements that he cannot fulfill. The power of belief makes this friend able to study abroad funded by scholarships, and even he achieved scholarship from two developed countries in Europe. This unique childhood characteristic is then translated into saving funds in foreign exchange. This is a real example of communicating with childhood. Which guides a person to grow naturally. Far from any internal violence.
After communicating with the inner childhood, it is highly recommended for friends to listen to his or her inner comfort. This feeling of comfort inside is telling us about the direction where the soul wants to go. Not only physical comfort, but also mental and spiritual comfort. There are people who are physically more comfortable growing on the beach, there are those who are more comfortable growing on the mountain, there are also those who like to maintain a balance between the two. Regarding mental comfort, learn to listen to the messages from within. From the quality of sleep, dreams, the smoothness of the bowel movements, the balance of emotions, until how we stop being easily agitated and angry. Everything is used as a guide to step.
Spiritual comfort is much deeper step. Here, a person is not only healthy, but his life is also safe. It is not easy to be tossed around by the waves of worldly life that are going here and there. Above all, the peak of spiritual comfort is achieved when a person feels very well within. From this feeling of well-being, then born a feeling to guide many beings to meet the same sense of joy. After communicating with your inner childhood and listening to your inner comfort, then you are advised to communicate with the universe. A task that is not simple for ordinary people. But don’t worry, there are signs that can be read.
Feeling restless, anxious or even in ill condition is an input that someone is less connected with the surrounding environment. The next advice is, try to spend more time in the outdoors accompanied by thankfulness and deep gratitude . For friends who are ill, plant medicinal plants around the house. While keep remembering that plants are encounters between the essence of heaven’s energy and earth’s energy. See everything from beautiful sides. It’s even better to train yourself if what is called mind is true-false, bad-good, all represent the same dance of perfection. Reduce complaints and learn to multiply your smile. Reduce any rejection and increase more acceptance. Above all, train yourself to always grow in balance.
Joy is an input that humans are neatly connected with the universe. Especially to those who don’t know the season. Borrowing a message from an old holy book, at the beginning we meet joy, at the end we meet joy and in the middle we also feel joyful. A friend who always sleeps with smiling lips tells that he always goes to bed thinking of funny and hillarious things that have ever happened. So that his life is always full of laughter and humor. As a result, he rarely gets sick. And because of that he can share the energy of healing and joy to the surrounding environment. For this type of human applies a simple but profound formula: “Humor is the cheapest medicine. Love for life is the most beautiful medicine”.
