In the time when the morning appears the night
disappears, that is one of God's faces as the law. The same thing happens to
the growth of the human soul. When the children begin to recognize the
importance of cleverness at school, innocence begins to be replaced by an
irritable mind.
As we all know, in childhood the mind is not
separated by the walls like bad-good, low-high, wrong-right. Everything is
well-connected in wholeness. That is why children feel safe, comfortable,
peaceful in the middle of nature. They have an abundance of energy.
Pursuing butterflies is one of wonderful
memories for children. Certainly not to be caught. Not to be mocked. But there
is a beautiful feeling inside while chasing after a butterfly that flew around.
It is not the result that counts, but the process and the journey which is full
of smiles and happiness.
It leaves traces of meaning in the soul, the
human soul has wings. And these soul wings are here to beautify, not to make
matters worse. And like a cocoon that evolves into a butterfly, the wings of
the soul also evolve.
Seeing all beings are suffering, that's a soul
cocoon. The poor suffer because they find it hard to find food. Rich people are
also suffering for fear of losing. Young people suffer because they have not
found a job yet. Parents suffer for fear of losing luxury.
The last coccoon is slowly being matured by a
very touching environment. Do not talk about the developing countries, even
countries as mature as the United States are threatened to be closed because of
conflict among the elites. The story of the nuclear war was lost for decades,
now it appears again.
Merged into one, for the ordinary human eyes,
mother earth is touching the heart. But for mature and luminous souls, this
earth keeps calling to them and quickly shows cocoons evolving into butterflies
that are sharing beauty here and there.
In our day, the world admired Nelson Mandela,
Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi. The world gave a very high appreciation to HH
Dalai Lama. It is like bringing a bright light, learn to be absent from
violence, looking at all beings with eyes which are full of acceptance, provide
hands to serve, that is the way the cocoon of consciousness is evolving into a
cute butterfly of beauty.
Borrowing one of Jalalludin Rumi's old heritage
messages: "Life is like living in a guesthouse, every day guests keep
changing, sometimes visited by pain, some other times visited by pleasure, but
whoever the guest, do not ever tire of sharing a smile". This is a
beautiful and cute butterfly that is deeply needed in this era.
