Bringers of The Dawn

"Life is not a puzzle to be solved, but a series of smiles to be shared"

There's darkness that touches the heart everywhere. Not only in developing countries do people grow in a fearful way, in the well-developed countries a growing number of people also live in a fearful way. The author of the book 'History of God' by Karen Armstrong, called it a great irony of our time. In many rich countries a growing number of human beings can not eat, not because of poverty, but because of life's uncertainty.

And darkness is not here to destroy the light. In contrast, darkness is here  to invite as many souls as possible to be the bringers of the dawn. Not many people are blessed to be as bright as Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela or Mahatma Gandhi. No matter how limited our capacity is, we can be a bringer of the dawn in our surrounding environment.

Whenever we meet thousands of parents of children with special needs, there is always an aura of darkness which deeply miss bright light. Many parents of the children with special needs ask the same questions, what is my fault, what is my sin, if I die who will take good care of my child, why should my child have special needs?

A series of questions that indicating a profound longing for bright light. For that reason, don't wait until you are rich and famous, let's start by doing anything that can be done now. In the world of leadership, a message is often heard, let's start by doing anything that can be done, not complaining about things that can not be done.

A young mother who has a couple of sons shared her story that one of her son is affected by autism. Unlike most parents who suspect themselves of having sinned because of giving birth to an autistic child, this young mother is different. She takes good care of her autistic child as good as taking good care of angels without wings.

When it comes to money, a lot of money has been spent for the treatment. A lot of energy spent to heal the son. The career of this young mother in the corporate world should even be stopped because she wants to concentrate on healing the son. The future of the son's recovery is still uncertain, but one thing is certain, the soul of this young mother is getting brighter day to day.

Another mother was deeply saddened because her beloved son became a victim of violence in an elite school. While the school teachers blame each other, this mother took over all the burdens and responsibilities and then spended years to heal their son.

For more than 12 years this mother took good care of her beloved son who was deeply injured. She forgot her beauty, she forgot her kind husband. All the energy was focused on healing the wounded child. Surprisingly, after a dozen years later, the first soul who is healed is the soul of the mother. Later on the son also recovered.

That's the true stories of bringers of the dawn. Grief, misfortune, sadness, which are avoided by almost everyone, are used as keys to open the gate of compassion. Strange but true, after the gate of compassion is opened, one can not only illuminate the darkness outside, they can also illuminate the darkness inside.

HH Dalai Lama was once asked: "are you going to be reborn?". With a friendly smile, this Nobel Prize winner replied: "of course, no doubt about it". When he was asked where he will be reborn, his holiness replied calmly: "I can even be reborn in the realms of animals if I will be needed there." This is a true bringer of the dawn. While many people are very busy doing spiritual practice in order to avoid rebirth (moksha), on the path of bringers of the dawn, many holy souls who took a vow to be reborn again and again until the suffering realms of samsara is completely empty.

"Grief and misfortune are not punishment, they are keys to enter the bright garden of souls"
