Moon of Compassion

"It is dark Guru, please guide me to get out of darkness", that is the whisper of a woman in a deep prayer. This is an example how most people hate and fear of darkness. Not just hating darkness, some even running away from darkness. And the more souls run away from darkness, the more darkness visit one's life.

That is the reason why deep inner travelers are no longer scare of darkness. Look at the trees as spiritual teacher, their roots grow in darkness. To take the roots into the light will only make trees wither and die.

Souls grow in a similar way. For that reason the founder of psychology such as Sigmund Freud and Carl G. Jung underlines the dark room inside which is called unconsciousness or the shadow. Jung even mentioned the
core of psychology like this: "to make the unconscious conscious, that is soul healing".

While clinical psychology try to dispel the inner darkness through a variety of pharmaceutical ingredients, deep spirituality learn to gently hug the inner darkness with serenity and peace. This is the argument why spiritual friends who join the meditation class are suggested to embody this message: "accept,
flow, smile".

This is very important and fundamental, especially because when one rejects the inner darkness, they actually give more power to inner darkness to attack them back. Look at people who repress anger excessively, they are like inner volcano which is ready to explode.

Quoting a spiritual heritage of Balinese elder, human soul is called dewa ya kala ya. To put it simply, there is devil and divine in human soul. While religion in the early stages hate the devil and admire the divine, deep spirituality gently hug
s both the devil and the divine within like nature embrace night and day.

Look at sunrise and sunset deeply. Sunrise is so beautiful because it is preceded by darkness. Sunset is also beautiful because it kisses darkness softly. The lesson then, learn to be the good friend of darkness. Darkness is part of the same soul.

The bad past, the immature parents, the spouse who does not support your soul growth, the naughty children are sorts
of darkness. Running away from darkness is to pull out the root of soul. As a matter of time soul tree will wither and die.

Illuminated by understanding like this, masters sit silently
when they are visited by the power of darkness. Look deeply inside when darkness comes, learn the textures, from where they come from, where do they go afterward. As it is often shared in many occassions: "sadness is an important chapter in the inner book that no one want to read".

Anyone who deeply practice the principle of "accept, flow, smile
" one day they can see with their own eyes, out of darkness there's a moon of compassion arise. In this stage, one does not try to drive darkness away, but darkness is illuminated by the soft light of moon (by which read: awareness). And the last moon was not born to fight against darkness, but to illuminate the darkness. Welcome home beautiful souls.
